2024 Christmas Party

On Sunday December 8th the Classic VW Club of Louisville met at Fern Creek Christian Church for our annual Christmas party. All the club officers and a number of club members worked together to set up as well as clean up the recreation room and buffet. 10 VW’s, both air and watercooled were in the parking lot.

Over 50 attendees shared a buffet from Mark’s Feed Store played numerous games and had a “Secret Santa” gift exchange. 

Our own Webmaster, Christopher, won 4 of the 10 prizes by winning 3 rounds of Bingo (even after exchanging his card when everyone insisted) as well as being on the winning trivia team. Louisville VW officer Phillip Pullen, CVWCoL president Zach Flynn and VW legends Dr. Bob and Steve (Westport Rd Automotive) also participated in the Trivia contest. 

Club photographer and all round good sport, Olivia Altman along with club vice president Christopher Wilburn hosted the trivia contest and a ping pong ball shoot out. Club treasurer Richard Heckler ran an excellent Bingo game with multiple versions played.

Maddison Metcalf designed a limited edition holiday shirt which was a huge hit.
