Mother Truckin’ Show

When you hear the term “Monster Truck” you probably think of Bigfoot driving over a line of cars, but that term can also apply to many of the vehicles at the Mother Truckin’ event, held this past Sunday, September 1st at the Bullet County Fairgrounds. With many crazy builds that you just don’t see out and about this isn’t your regular show.
Custom vans with interiors carpeted top to bottom, sporting fireplaces and custom wood panels were in attendance. One ton crew cabs, normally found full of work crews, could be found with full air ride and custom touches. Field trucks turned into race vehicles, mini trucks straight from the 90’s and even a true semi truck turned low rider custom. Where else would you see a custom dump truck? Only at Mother Truckin.
This year Marshmelo, my 72 Westfalia, was the only VW in attendance and was rewarded with a top pick award.
If you have a VW bus or just want something to do, visiting the Mother Truckin’ show should be on your list.
